Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23/08/2026
Clarity Automated (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit our website or book a demo call, why we collect it, how we use it, and what rights you have over it.
We are the data controller for the purposes of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1. What data we collect
When you book a demo call or otherwise get in touch with us, we may collect:
- Full name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Any information you provide during a call or in correspondence with us
- Basic technical data when you visit our website (e.g. IP address, browser type, pages visited) via standard website analytics
We do not knowingly collect any special category data (e.g. health, religion, etc.) and ask that you don’t include this in any messages to us.
2. How we use your data
We use your personal data to:
- Respond to your enquiry
- Book, confirm, and remind you of a demo call
- Send you information relevant to your enquiry (e.g. rescheduling, follow-up)
- Improve our website and service
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for purposes unrelated to the above without asking you first.
3. Legal basis for processing
We process your data on the following bases:
- Consent — when you submit the booking form and confirm you’re happy to receive confirmations and reminders by email and text
- Legitimate interest — to respond to enquiries you’ve made and run our core business operations
- Contract — where processing is necessary to deliver a service you’ve requested (e.g. a booked call)
You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us (see Section 8).
4. Who we share your data with
We use a small number of trusted third-party service providers to run our booking and communication systems. These providers only process your data to deliver the service on our behalf, under their own data protection obligations:
- GoHighLevel / LeadConnector — our CRM and booking platform, used to store contact details, manage bookings, and send confirmation/reminder emails and text messages
- Google — for calendar scheduling and generating video call links (Google Meet)
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK/EEA (e.g. in the United States). Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent adequacy protections required under UK GDPR.
We do not share your data with any third party for their own marketing purposes.
5. How long we keep your data
We keep your personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes it was collected for — typically for the duration of our business relationship with you, plus a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping purposes. If you don’t proceed past an initial enquiry, we may retain basic contact details for a limited period in case you get back in touch, after which they are deleted or anonymised.
6. Cookies
Our website may use basic cookies necessary for it to function correctly (e.g. remembering your booking session). We do not currently use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. If this changes, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Erasure — ask us to delete your data (“right to be forgotten”)
- Restrict how we use your data
- Object to certain types of processing
- Data portability — receive your data in a portable format
- Complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you believe we’ve mishandled your data — visit ico.org.uk
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 8. We’ll respond within one month.
